How many images per shoot do you keep?

Postby sven on Sat May 02, 2009 6:32 am

After the last poll on how many images you take per shoot I though it would be interesting to ask also on how many images of those are actually keepers.

In my case I would say it's around 60%. I usually take only very few pictures on one shoot. Some bracketed shots are ending in the trash and then there are some variations of basically the same image, maybe even from different days which makes it different to decide from time to time as the scene is basically the same, but the image is of course rather different.

So what about you? Would be nice to see the results in the poll or to read your comment here.

Cheers,

Sven

I've been meaning to comment on this thread for the past several weeks...I know I keep way too many! I am really trying to improve in this respect and be a bit more discerning when culling through. I always rate mine 1-5 stars and I have devised a new approach: after a bit of time has passed, I will go back and re-review the 1 and 2 star ranked ones and subsequently delete them...at least that's the plan!

I'm curious to know everyone else's process...!
